Freelance Video Editor – Contract position (Mid-Senior)

Join a dynamic personal development brand as a remote freelance video editor, supporting the launch and ongoing production of a video podcast. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on a long-term creative partnership, editing 2-3 episodes per month. You will work with footage from a professional videographer, often recorded in diverse locations, and ensure each episode maintains a consistent, high-quality visual and audio standard. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands the nuances of personal branding, and can deliver polished content that resonates with a global audience. Deliverables

• Edit full-length podcast episodes using multicam footage, ensuring seamless transitions and a cohesive look.
• Apply advanced colour grading to maintain visual consistency across varying recording environments.
• Perform audio post-production, including noise reduction, EQ, and mastering for broadcast-quality sound.
• Create engaging short-form content and highlight reels for social media promotion.
• Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, and branded elements as needed.
• Collaborate remotely with the brand team to align on creative direction and feedback.
• Deliver final assets in required formats and specifications within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing video podcasts or similar long-form content.
• Expertise in multicam editing, colour grading, and audio post-production.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong skills in motion graphics and short-form content creation.
