Content Creator - Mentorship

This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level content creator with a passion for food and digital storytelling. The role involves providing mentorship and expert guidance to support the production of engaging short-form video content for a UK-based spice company. The focus is on demonstrating creative ways to showcase a wide variety of spices and cooking ingredients through concise, visually appealing videos tailored for social media platforms. The mentorship is fully remote and designed to be ongoing, offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a growing personal project. Deliverables

• Advise on planning, scripting, and storyboarding 2–4 short videos per week (15–45 seconds each)
• Guide on best practices for shooting, lighting, and editing food demonstration videos
• Recommend effective strategies for maximizing engagement on social media platforms
• Provide feedback on video concepts, production quality, and content optimization
• Support the development of a consistent visual style and brand voice across all video content

Requirements

• Proven experience in content creation, especially for food, cooking, or lifestyle brands
• Strong understanding of short-form video trends and social media algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Proficiency in video production techniques, including filming, lighting, and editing
• Ability to mentor and communicate complex concepts in a clear, actionable manner
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling
• Reliable internet connection and availability for remote collaboration
• Previous experience mentoring or coaching others in content creation is a plus
