We are seeking a data-driven, strategic Director of Acquisition & SEO to lead our organic growth and user acquisition strategy. This role merges deep SEO expertise with a broader performance marketing mindset to attract, convert, and retain high-value users.
You will oversee a cross-functional team working across SEO, paid media, content marketing, and conversion optimization, ensuring our digital acquisition engine is firing across all cylinders. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of content, data, and user intent.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the company’s full-funnel user acquisition strategy with a strong focus on SEO
- Lead and grow teams across SEO, paid acquisition (SEM, display, social), and content
- Define KPIs for user acquisition and ensure growth goals are consistently met or exceeded
- Oversee technical SEO, content performance, site architecture, and backlink strategy
- Collaborate with product, content, and engineering to align SEO with product/UX improvements
- Optimize landing pages, lead funnels, and user paths to maximize conversions
- Analyze acquisition data and cohort behavior to refine strategies and allocate budgets
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, platform changes, and new growth opportunities
Qualifications
- 7+ years in growth marketing, digital acquisition, or SEO leadership roles
- Proven track record of driving organic and paid acquisition at scale
- Strong grasp of SEO strategy, search algorithms, content marketing, and technical implementation
- Experience managing multi-channel acquisition campaigns and marketing teams
- Advanced analytical skills with fluency in tools like GA4, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Ads
- Experience with CRO, A/B testing frameworks, and customer journey mapping
- Exceptional leadership, cross-functional communication, and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fast-growth tech companies, e-commerce, or SaaS environments
- Familiarity with CRM, attribution modeling, and lifecycle marketing
- Deep understanding of mobile SEO and app store optimization (ASO)
- International SEO experience a plus
