Social Media Lead

About UsTheFutureSociety LLC operates three brands: The Tarot Ship (289K+ YouTube subscribers), Great Awakener, a premium all-livestream membership platform covering astrology, world events, and culture, and MAX, the world's first AI platform that reads natal birth charts for personalized guidance. The Founder is an astrologer, former EVP of Global PR and Communications, and a 15+ year media veteran.

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, self-sufficient and enthusiastic Content Creator & Social Media Lead who can own our entire short-form video and social presence — from the cut to the caption to the carousel. You produce and post reels, tweets, carousels; moderate livestreams; and report with analysis. The candidate should have strong interest in social media and understand and adapt to its evolution.

We use Descript, OpusClips and StreamYard that already cuts the raw footage. Our Drive holds 40–50 pre-cut clips. Our content database is keyword-searchable. Your job is the craft layer — turning pre-cut footage into memorable and compelling clips. Almost all clips will be repurposed from our livestreams.

What A Week Looks Like

• 8-10 short-form clips edited and posted
• Daily posting across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, and Bluesky, covering forecasts, livestreams and trending news.
• ~7 livestreams/month — every Sunday afternoon plus 3–4 YouTube streams (when needed). You moderate chat, surface questions, flag viral moments live, run headlines and reels
• Weekly analytics in SlackWhat We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in both short-form editing and social media management. Portfolio required for both halves.
• Fluency with CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci; Buffer or Later; Canva; and AI clipping tools (Descript, Opus)
• A creator account you've grown or meaningfully contributed to — with real numbers to show
• Strong written voice in English; fast brand-voice adaptation
• Reliable US Eastern timezone overlap

Bonus Points

• Worked with a creator at 100K+ subs
• Genuine interest in astrology, spirituality/wellness, cultural changes · Light motion graphics (After Effects)
• Meta Ads experience
• Familiarity with Kit or Mailchimp

Compensation

• $4,500–$5,500/month.
• 30+/- hours/week
• 90-day performance review
