Job Title: Marketing Operations Contractor

Type: Freelance (40 hrs/week)

Start: ASAP

Length: 6+ months (extension based on performance)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based talent only)

Compensation: DOE

A fast-growing technology company is seeking a skilled Marketing Operations Contractor to support their Revenue Marketing team. This role will focus on optimizing marketing automation, analytics, and campaign performance to drive upcoming growth initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and optimize Marketo campaigns, workflows, and lead scoring models
  • Oversee campaign execution and performance tracking across digital channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (RevOps, Demand Gen, Analytics) to ensure campaign alignment and data accuracy
  • Monitor and report on key metrics to inform decision-making and improve ROI
  • Troubleshoot and enhance marketing automation processes to ensure best-in-class delivery
  • Identify trends, troubleshoot issues independently, and proactively recommend data-driven improvements

Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)

  • 4+ years in Marketing Operations or similar roles within B2B tech or SaaS
  • Hands-on expertise with Marketo (certification preferred)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Looker, GA4, Qualified, and Heap
  • Strong analytics and data reporting experience (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Proven background in campaign management and performance optimization
  • Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously without heavy training
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing and RevOps teams

  • Have prior experience supporting cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS brands
  • Are familiar with Salesforce integration and multi-channel campaign attribution
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, results-driven environment

This is an offsite, 40 hrs/week, 6-month contract with potential for extension based on performance and impact.
