Job Mission Terraformation is seeking a senior-level growth operator to join a dedicated tiger team focused on rapidly scaling our Tree Subscription consumer model. The goal is to unlock $6 million in subscription sales over six months. This role is for a hands-on growth leader who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, knows how to test and scale acquisition channels, and can turn bold targets into measurable results. Job Type: Contract – 6 months. Full-time (30-40 hours a week) Location: United States, Remote Salary: $65 - $75 per hour Responsibilities

  • Experiment: Rapidly test and iterate across digital and offline channels (paid ads, partnerships, influencers, referral programs, vitality loops) to build demand and scale what’s working.
  • Optimize Subscription Funnel: Drive improvements across awareness, conversion, and retention. Set up A/B tests, analyze funnel metrics, and implement quick wins that compound over time.
  • Hack into New Audiences: Identify and exploit unconventional acquisition tactics to reach mass consumer audiences, with a focus on mission-driven storytelling that ties to climate impact.
  • Build and Refine Growth Playbook: Document successful experiments and create a repeatable model for subscriber acquisition and retention, enabling the team to continue scaling beyond the 6-month sprint.
  • Partner with the Executive Team: Report data-driven progress and translate learnings into strategic insights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in growth roles at high-growth startups or consumer subscription businesses.
  • Proven experience scaling B2C subscription models (e.g., sustainability, digital platforms, consumer goods).
  • Deep understanding of CAC/LTV economics, churn reduction, referral mechanics, and rapid experimentation frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise in performance marketing (Meta, Google, TikTok) and partnership growth (influencers, affiliates, NGOs, or cause marketing).
  • Track record of building viral loops, referral programs, or community-driven growth.
  • Comfort operating with lean resources, moving fast, and learning by doing.
  • Mission-driven mindset: excited to hack growth in the service of tackling climate change.
