Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing Copywriter to join our team. You will be responsible for writing high-performing email and SMS copy for our clients and their partners, turning strategy into clear, persuasive messages that convert.

Key Responsibilities

• Email & SMS Copywriting: Write clear, compelling campaigns, flows, and transactional emails that align with each brand’s voice and objectives.
• Personalisation & Strategy: Develop messaging and angles based on audience research, behaviour, and lifecycle stage so every send feels relevant and timely.
• Testing & Optimisation: Run A/B tests on subject lines, hooks, body copy, and CTAs, and use performance data to improve results over time.
• Segmentation-Based Messaging: Tailor copy for different segments (e.g. new subscribers, VIPs, lapsed customers) using demographics, purchase history, and engagement data.
• Collaboration with Design: Work closely with designers so copy and visuals work together to tell one clear, compelling story.
• Staying Sharp: Keep up with email, e‑commerce, and direct response trends and bring fresh, tested ideas to the table.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in email marketing copywriting
• Strong understanding of email marketing principles and best practices
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to adapt writing style to different brands and target audiences
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimisation
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and technologies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Work Arrangement:

• Contract position
• Must be based in Australia
• Flexible schedule with a set amount of tasks to be completed each month

Compensation:

• 2-3k per month based on experience and workload.
