Freelance Social Media Specialist

We’re looking for a freelance Social Media Specialist who combines creativity with technical fluency to help early-stage startups and SMEs stand out on social.

💡What you’ll do:

• You’ll manage and grow social media presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook—for clients and internal brand projects
• Plan, create, and schedule high-quality organic and paid content tailored to each platform
• Manage and optimize paid social campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Twitter Ads)
• Track performance, extract insights, and iterate content and ad strategies
• Work in close collaboration with internal and client teams to align messaging
• Use project management tools to stay organized and deliver on time
• Take initiative in suggesting new content formats, engagement tactics, and opportunities

🎯Must-haves:

• 5+ years of hands-on social media management experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong track record in content creation and management on platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, X
• Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g. Meta Insights, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)
• Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, SproutSocial)
• Basic understanding of SEO and how it supports social growth
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Asana, Monday)
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects in a remote-first setup

🌟Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in industries like MedTech, SaaS, E-mobility, or Entrepreneurship
• Experience building social media accounts from scratch (zero to growth)
• Fluency in another European language (German, Spanish, French, etc.)
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Basic video editing skills
