This is not a “set-and-forget” ads role.

We are looking for a highly analytical, technically capable, and commercially driven Paid Ads Manager who understands how to turn advertising spend into predictable, scalable lead generation and revenue growth.

You will be responsible for managing and optimising multi-channel paid campaigns across Software Co and our portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on B2B lead generation, high-value conversions, and ROI optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute high-performance paid media strategies across:
  • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
  • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
  • LinkedIn Ads (B2B lead generation)
  • Other relevant platforms (TikTok, programmatic, native ads where applicable)
  • Define clear campaign objectives aligned with revenue and pipeline goals
  • Identify target audiences, buyer personas, and intent-driven segments

2. Campaign Execution & Optimisation

  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns end-to-end
  • Continuously optimise for:
  • Cost per lead (CPL)
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Conversion rates
  • Return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Conduct A/B testing across creatives, copy, landing pages, and funnels
  • Implement advanced bidding strategies and budget allocation models

3. Funnel & Conversion Optimisation

  • Collaborate with design, content, and development teams to improve landing pages and conversion funnels
  • Ensure alignment between ad messaging and on-site experience
  • Identify drop-off points and continuously improve conversion performance

4. Tracking, Analytics & Attribution

  • Set up and manage tracking systems:
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution modelling
  • Build dashboards and reports that clearly show performance and ROI

5. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyse campaign performance and extract actionable insights
  • Make rapid, data-backed decisions to improve outcomes
  • Report on weekly and monthly performance with clear recommendations

6. Scaling & Experimentation

  • Identify and test new channels, audiences, and growth opportunities
  • Scale winning campaigns efficiently while maintaining performance targets
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm updates, and industry trends

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid ads campaigns
  • Proven track record of generating high-quality leads and measurable ROI
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Google Ads (Search is critical)
  • Meta Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads (strong advantage for B2B)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Conversion tracking and attribution
  • Funnel optimisation
  • Audience segmentation and retargeting strategies

Technical Capability

  • Experience with GA4, GTM, and conversion tracking setups
  • Ability to diagnose tracking issues and ensure data accuracy
  • Familiarity with CRM integrations (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus

Analytical Mindset

  • Highly data-driven with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and making optimisation decisions
  • Ability to translate data into clear actions and outcomes

Commercial Thinking

  • Understands how marketing connects to revenue, not just clicks
  • Focused on outcomes, not activity
  • Able to prioritise high-impact initiatives
