SalesWings is an exciting SaaS venture and solution that sits at the intersection of the world's most powerful sales and marketing technologies. We're a small, focused team of ~10 people spread across Europe and North America, building category-defining technology that sits at the heart of our customers' revenue operations. Our solution helps revenue teams deeply understand their customers based on behavioral and profile data analytics, allowing them to engage leads, accounts and buyers in the most targeted and effective manner both on the sales and marketing side.

THE ROLE (fully remote in European time zone)

We're hiring a Growth Marketing Lead to own and build SalesWings' lead generation engine from the ground up.

Here's the twist: you'll start by stepping into a Customer Success role for 5 - 6 months (April – October 2026), covering a maternity leave. This isn't busywork, it's by design. You'll spend your first months talking to customers daily, learning how they buy, what they value, and where they struggle. By the time you transition into your full growth role, you'll know our market better than anyone we could hire off a job board.

After October, you'll take full ownership of demand generation, building the systems, content, and campaigns that feed our commercial pipeline, with a heavy emphasis on leveraging data, AI and automation to punch far above your weight.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Phase 1 — Customer Success (April – October 2026)

  • Manage an existing book of customer accounts: onboarding, training, QBRs, and day-to-day support.
  • Become deeply fluent in the SalesWings product, the ecosystems we work in, and the problems our buyers face.
  • Document patterns in how customers discover, evaluate, and adopt SalesWings.
  • Begin mapping our ideal customer profile, buyer journey, and positioning based on real conversations.
  • Quietly prototype your first lead gen experiments on the side.

Phase 2 — Growth Marketing (October 2026 onward)

  • You'll be our 1 (wo)man marketing show, which requires you to be extremely hands-on and tech savvy, focused on constant execution around our demand generation goals.
  • You'll design and execute our lead generation strategy across inbound and outbound channels. Building AI-powered workflows for audience building and activation, lead enrichment, prospecting, content creation, and campaign automation on all channels.
  • Own content marketing: produce thought leadership, case studies, and educational content that drives organic demand.
  • Run targeted ABM campaigns (paid, email, social, community, partnerships) and measure ROI ruthlessly.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and sales to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market motions. Eventually build out a small growth team as results justify the investment.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience and background

  • 5–10 years in B2B SaaS growth, demand generation, or marketing — ideally at a startup or scale-up where you built things from scratch.
  • Strong strategic sense, experience and know-how around modern B2B SaaS marketing tactics.
  • Hands-on experience running campaigns end-to-end: you've written the copy, set up the tooling, launched the campaign, and analyzed the results yourself.
  • Familiarity with the martech/salestech landscape is a strong plus — you understand the world our customers live in.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud is a must.
  • Knowledge and experience working with marketing automation solutions is a must.
  • Customer-facing experience (CS, account management, or consulting) is a bonus, not a requirement.

AI and automation mindset

  • You actively use AI tools in your daily workflow — not just ChatGPT for drafting, but building real workflows.
  • You've experimented with or deployed tools like Clay, n8n, Zapier, 6Sense, Make, Phantombuster, AI-powered SDR platforms, or custom LLM-based automations.
  • You think in systems: "How do I build a pipeline that runs while I sleep?" is your default question.
  • You're comfortable getting semi-technical — connecting APIs, writing basic prompts, setting up automations — even if you're not a developer.

Mindset and traits

  • Entrepreneurial: you see a gap and fill it without waiting for permission.
  • Analytical: you measure what matters and kill what doesn't work.
  • Excellent communicator in English (written and verbal); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the idea of defining a role rather than inheriting one.
  • You genuinely enjoy talking to customers and don't see CS as "beneath" a growth role.
