E-commerce Manager
Responsible for developing and executing the company's e-commerce growth strategy to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue. The role oversees the customer lifecycle, optimizes digital performance, and collaborates with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve business objectives.
Typical responsibilities E-commerce strategy
- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce growth strategy.
- Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Align commercial initiatives with business goals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
Customer lifecycle management
- Optimize the customer journey from acquisition to retention.
- Improve onboarding and product adoption.
- Develop initiatives to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
Commercial performance
- Own key commercial KPIs and revenue targets.
- Monitor subscription growth and customer health.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Optimize pricing, packaging, and promotional initiatives.
Website and conversion optimization
- Improve website performance and lead conversion.
- Collaborate on landing pages and user experience improvements.
- Prioritize A/B testing and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging across digital channels.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with Product on feature prioritization and launches.
- Partner with Marketing to align campaigns with commercial objectives.
- Support Sales with customer insights and enablement materials.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to improve retention and satisfaction.
Performance monitoring
- Analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Build reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Use data to guide strategic decisions and continuous improvement.

Experience

Technical skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital ecosystems.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Business skills
- Commercial and strategic thinking.
- Project and stakeholder management.
- Budget ownership and performance management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
