Director / Senior Director, Performance Marketing
About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a rapidly growing consumer-focused company seeking a Director or Senior Director of Performance Marketing to lead customer acquisition strategy and drive scalable growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for paid media strategy, channel diversification, experimentation, agency management, and performance optimization across the customer acquisition funnel.
The ideal candidate has successfully managed multi-million-dollar paid media budgets, built scalable acquisition engines, and consistently delivered against CAC, CPA, or similar efficiency targets.
What You'll Do
- Own paid acquisition strategy across key digital channels including Meta, Google, affiliate, and emerging platforms.
- Develop annual and quarterly growth roadmaps that align marketing investment with business objectives.
- Lead testing and experimentation efforts to improve acquisition efficiency and unlock scalable growth opportunities.
- Manage and optimize relationships with external agencies and strategic partners.
- Build and scale affiliate marketing programs, including identifying and onboarding new partners.
- Evaluate and launch new paid acquisition channels and audience strategies.
- Monitor platform changes, industry trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, content, analytics, and leadership teams to improve campaign performance and conversion outcomes.
- Own key acquisition metrics including CAC, CPA, cost per opportunity, conversion rates, and marketing ROI.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or paid acquisition.
- 3+ years in a strategic leadership or ownership role.
- Deep expertise managing Meta and Google advertising programs at meaningful scale.
- Experience overseeing affiliate marketing programs and partnership-driven acquisition channels.
- Proven success managing agency relationships and external marketing partners.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated track record of scaling customer acquisition while maintaining efficiency targets.
- Experience within a direct-to-consumer, fintech, subscription, marketplace, consumer technology, or other high-growth environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, or similar sectors.
- Familiarity with SEO, lifecycle marketing, content strategy, and broader growth marketing functions.
- Experience building reporting frameworks, attribution models, and performance measurement systems.
- Prior experience building or leading high-performing marketing teams.
