The Role
We’re looking for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist who lives and breathes SEO and knows how take a website and get it ranking. You’ll manage on-page and off-page SEO strategies for communities across luxury, market-rate, affordable, student, senior, and build-to-rent markets. You’ll apply strategies, talk with clients about results and help grow organic rankings. You’ll be part of our digital marketing team, working closely with paid media, and web development to ensure every property website dominates in search—and in AI results too.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute SEO strategies for multifamily property websites (local SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, and GEO/AI readiness).
- Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits with a multifamily lens.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles, citations, and backlinks for local visibility.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure new sites are SEO-optimized before launch.
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics (rankings, CTRs, conversions) with actionable insights.
- Stay ahead of evolving SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) trends—especially how AI Overviews are reshaping search.
- Support onboarding of new clients by ensuring SEO foundations are strong from day one.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
- Experience managing multi-location or local SEO campaigns (real estate or multifamily is a huge plus).
- Strong technical SEO knowledge—site structure, schema, indexing, Core Web Vitals, etc.
- Familiarity with WordPress and tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Excellent written communication—clear, direct, and data-driven.
- Proactive mindset: you don’t wait for problems, you find and fix them.
- A passion for multifamily marketing—or the curiosity to become an expert fast.
