At Formify, we are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Social Media and Content Strategist to join us on an initial 12 month B2B contract.
This person will lead the online presence, content creation, and strategic execution for three emerging brands in the home design and configurator technology sector: Modulo, Formify, and Designmyclosets.ai.
This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and direct conversion through compelling visual content, strategic posting, and data-driven analysis across all major digital channels, with a focus on the European market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
- Brand Voice Management: Develop and maintain distinct and compelling brand voices, style guides, and content calendars tailored to the target audience of Modulo (high-end custom cabinets/LiDAR tech), Formify (general customizable products), and Designmyclosets.ai (closet planning).
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor competitors (e.g., IKEA, Tylko, other configurators) to identify content gaps, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities for competitive content creation.
- Campaign Development: Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns across social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook) and online platforms (Google Ads, email newsletters) to support product launches and promotional cycles.
2. Content Creation & Curation
- Creation Mastery: Design, produce, and edit high-quality, original visual and video content (images, short-form video, reels, stories) optimized for each platform's technical specifications and audience preferences.
- Feature Focus: Develop engaging educational content specifically showcasing Modulo’s competitive advantages, particularly the LiDAR-enabled CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system for precise, phone-based measurement.
- Copywriting: Write compelling, SEO-friendly captions, blog content, and ad copy that drives traffic and conversion, while maintaining brand consistency across the three portfolios.
3. Execution, Management & Community
- Daily Posting: Manage the day-to-day scheduling and posting of content across all channels and brands, ensuring optimal timing for European engagement.
- Community Management: Actively monitor, engage with, and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a positive brand community and gather valuable user feedback.
- Paid Social Support: Assist in the setup, optimization, and reporting of paid social media advertising campaigns to maximize reach and ROI.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Performance Tracking: Utilize native platform analytics, Google Analytics, and internal tools to track, measure, and analyze performance against key KPIs (engagement rate, impressions, conversions, traffic).
- Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports summarizing content performance, key learnings, and actionable recommendations for future strategy adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience managing social media and online content for multiple B2C brands, preferably in e-commerce, home goods, or technology.
- Social Media Strategy: Must possess deep knowledge and proven success in developing and executing comprehensive, performance-driven social media strategies.
- Creative Skillset: Proven proficiency with visual design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro/Premiere).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into measurable social media and content strategies.
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube algorithms and best practices.
- Language: Native or near-native fluency in English required. Proficiency in a major European language (German, French, Spanish) is a strong asset.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Experience marketing a technical product (e.g., a software tool, configurator, or complex application).
- Familiarity with the architecture or concept of LiDAR technology and its application in measurement.
- Industry Knowledge: Direct experience in interior design, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing processes is highly valued.
- Prior experience in the European digital marketing landscape.
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS or experience working within a Content Management System (CMS).
Compensation & Benefits
- Performance Bonus: A significant portion of the total compensation will be tied to an annual or quarterly performance bonus structure, based on the achievement of key campaign success metrics (KPIs) such as engagement rate, conversion-driven traffic, and measurable business outcomes for Modulo (LiDAR CPQ adoption), Formify, and Designmyclosets.ai.
