Location: Remote (with optional ad-hoc co-working opportunities around Bristol and/or London)

Compensation: Competitive salary with equity options and potential to incorporate performance based commission / bonuses (depending on starting salary)

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, flexible and versatile digital marketer who can develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans in order to drive qualified traffic and ultimately customer acquisition to drive rapid growth through a wide range of primarily online marketing activity.

What You'll Do

Define positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans 

  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Define specific objectives and targets across different channels

Refine, manage and monitor the marketing budget

  • Work with the team to define suitable budgets based on objectives
  • Ensure funds are allocated wisely across channels / campaigns
  • Establish targets and regularly report on ROAS

Implement successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution

  • Create (or collaborate with the wider team to create) channel-appropriate, on-brand creative assets across social (organic and paid, including ads and influencer collaborations), search (organic and paid), email and referral / affiliate marketing
  • Develop engaging, value-led content that attracts, converts, and retains target audiences
  • Define and communicate clear propositions, benefits-led messaging and campaign content
  • Ensure consistent, effective messaging across all touch-points to support customer acquisition and retention

Continuously track, analyse, learn and optimise performance 

  • Define and experiment with channel mix to identify what performs best (we’re currently experimenting with Meta (Instagram) and Google ads, started exploring TikTok, Bing)
  • Analyse performance and extract key insights for future campaign development 2
  • Share learnings with the team and apply to future plans to improve customer experience and ROAS 

What we’re looking for

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience marketing a SaaS start-up or directly comparable small but rapidly growing business
  • Experience marketing to both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Proven experience accessing target audiences and creatively devising and leading cross channel marketing campaigns that engage, motivate and convert
  • Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of and deriving insights from metrics to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Deep and intimate understanding of digital marketing channels
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy and up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement 
  • Advanced level experience working with platforms such as Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, GTM and Google Analytics
  • Experience in setting up and successfully optimising search and social campaigns 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with native level English
  • A strong sense of aesthetics and a love for great content
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Responds dynamically and positively to changing priorities as we learn and evolve fast to find product market fit!
  • Experience collaborating with social media influencers
  • Experience / active interest in home renovation would be ideal
