Business Development Manager (Sports & E-Commerce Marketing Agency)
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £75,000+)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Company
We’re working with a growing marketing agency who work with some of the most exciting sports and e-commerce brands in the UK and beyond. Their team delivers creative, data-driven campaigns that help brands grow audiences, drive engagement, and boost performance online.
We’re now supporting them to hire their first ever Business Development Manager of which is a pivotal new role for the agency as they continue to expand.
The Opportunity
This is a unique chance to build the business development function from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for generating and closing new opportunities with ambitious brands that want to elevate their digital marketing. You’ll work directly with the leadership team and have the autonomy to shape the agency’s commercial growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and win new business across the e-commerce sectors.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound and inbound activity.
- Develop tailored proposals and pitches in collaboration with the strategy and creative teams.
- Nurture long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
- Report directly to the Founder and provide insights into market trends and opportunities.
About You
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within a marketing, digital, or creative agency.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and/or consumer brands is a strong advantage.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setup.
- Passionate about helping brands grow through creative marketing.
