Role Overview

We are hiring a Curriculum Developer to design and produce curriculum across courses and grade levels. The role combines subject expertise with pedagogical craft — building materials that teachers can actually use and students actually learn from.

Key Responsibilities

- Design course outlines, scope and sequence, and unit plans

- Write lessons, activities, assessments, and supplementary materials

- Align curriculum to standards, frameworks, and learning outcomes

- Partner with subject matter experts and teachers to refine materials

- Run pilots and revise curriculum based on classroom feedback

- Maintain version control and content management for curriculum assets

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years in curriculum design or teaching with content development responsibility

- Strong subject expertise in your assigned area

- Familiarity with educational standards (Common Core, NGSS, IB, AP, etc.)

- Excellent writing and editing skills

- Understanding of differentiated instruction and assessment design

- Master's degree in education or subject area is a plus

What You'll Bring

- Genuine passion for learner outcomes and continuous improvement of materials

- Clear written communication and the ability to break down complex topics

- Openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate based on learner data

- Comfort working asynchronously across time zones

What We Offer

- Fully remote, flexible work hours

- Performance-based bonus structure

- Annual learning & development stipend

- Health and wellness benefits (varies by location)

- Opportunity to work on high-scale, real-world impact projects

Equal Opportunity Statement

This is an equal opportunity role. Applications are welcomed from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. All hiring decisions are based solely on qualifications, skills, and demonstrated ability.
