PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Director of Product Marketing on a Direct Hire basis. This role can be based remotely anywhere in the United States, with a preference towards MT/CT timezones.

Summary

We are seeking a strategic yet highly hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, and product marketing efforts for a B2B SaaS platform serving complex manufacturing and engineering environments. This leadership role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Executive Leadership to shape market messaging, support major product launches, and accelerate growth within a rapidly evolving business unit. The ideal candidate combines executive-level strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute tactical marketing initiatives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve product positioning, messaging, and market narrative for a portfolio of supply chain intelligence, component intelligence, compliance, lifecycle, and workflow integration solutions.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and launch execution for new platform capabilities, product enhancements, pricing and packaging updates, integrations, and AI-driven initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Demand Generation, and Sales leadership to align roadmap messaging, launch readiness, and campaign execution.
  • Develop segmentation, ideal customer profiles (ICP), and persona strategies across procurement, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, operations, and manufacturing audiences.
  • Create differentiated competitive positioning and value-based messaging around resiliency, lifecycle management, sourcing optimization, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
  • Equip Sales and SDR teams with enablement materials, messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence, objection handling, and launch support to improve pipeline quality and sales effectiveness.
  • Leverage AI tools and modern GTM technologies to accelerate messaging development, market research, competitive analysis, content creation, launch planning, and organizational efficiency.
  • Operate as a strategic “player-coach,” balancing executive-level strategy with hands-on execution, including tactical marketing deliverables that support product launches and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify whitespace opportunities and bring customer insights into GTM and product decisions.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing and Go-to-Market Strategy roles.
  • Strong industry experience supporting industrial technology, manufacturing technology, engineering software, distribution technology, electronic components, enterprise data platforms, or related industrial software solutions.
  • Proven success leading enterprise product launches, GTM initiatives, messaging strategy, and supporting complex B2B sales environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both strategically and tactically, with comfort owning hands-on execution in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude or similar platforms) to improve messaging, content creation, competitive analysis, research, and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time and work with a global team that may require periodic early morning and late evening meetings.
