Director, Global Brand Marketing | DTC Apparel & Active Lifestyle

A fast-scaling performance apparel and active lifestyle brand is hiring a Director of Brand, Content & Culture to define and scale how the brand shows up globally

.Working closely with the executive leadership team, this role owns the creative direction, storytelling system, and cultural expression of the brand across campaigns, content, social, and creators.

The business has strong product-market fit and a loyal community. The next phase is building a category-defining brand through world-class storytelling, content, and culture.

The Role

Own the end-to-end brand, content, and cultural system, defining how the brand is expressed across all consumer touchpoints. You will build a scalable storytelling engine that connects brand identity, product narratives, creators, and community into a unified system.

  • Brand & creative direction
  • Content & social strategy
  • Creator / athlete ecosystem
  • Campaigns & GTM storyelling

What You’ll OwnBrand

  • Creative
  • Define and evolve brand voice, identity, and storytelling system
  • Lead integrated campaigns and cultural brand moments
  • Ensure consistent brand expression across all channels

Content & Social

  • Own social and content strategy across key platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Build a scalable, high-output content engine tied to product and culture
  • Maintain always-on storytelling aligned to launches and campaigns

Creators & Community

  • Scale athlete and creator programs into a structured cultural channel
  • Embed creators into organic and paid storytelling
  • Strengthen community engagement and brand affinity

Campaigns & GTM

  • Lead go-to-market storytelling for key product launches
  • Partner with Growth to align brand and performance execution
  • Build repeatable campaign systems tied to product cadence

Experience

  • 7–12+ years marketing experience, including senior brand/content leadership
  • Experience building brand systems in consumer businesses ($50M–$500M+)
  • Strong track record in integrated brand + content + storytelling
  • Experience leading creator, influencer, or athlete-led programs
  • Background in apparel, fitness, sport, outdoor, or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Experience in high-growth or globally scaled consumer brands strongly valued
