The Content Strategist is responsible for defining the overarching strategy and voice for all content channels (web, social, email, video, etc.). They ensure content aligns with business goals, serves the target audience, and drives measurable engagement and conversions. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Conduct content audits, competitive analysis, and audience
research to develop a comprehensive content strategy and editorial calendar.
- Content Governance: Define content standards, style guides, tone of voice, and best
practices for SEO and accessibility across the organization.
- SEO & Distribution: Partner with marketing and product teams to integrate content with
SEO strategies, defining keywords, and optimizing distribution across relevant channels.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key content metrics (e.g., traffic, time on
page, conversion rate) to assess effectiveness and recommend strategic pivots.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Oversee content creation workflows, managing writers,
designers, and subject matter experts to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or a content leadership role.
- Proven expertise in SEO principles and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or
similar platforms.
