Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a contract, fully remote role focused on managing and growing social media platforms. Responsibilities include developing and executing engaging social media content, planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and actively driving audience engagement. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can identify trends, pitch new ideas, and take ownership of the content calendar from concept to execution. Additionally, the Specialist will collaborate with the team to ensure consistent brand messaging and contribute to continuous improvement in the overall social media strategy.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) marketing is required
- Experience targeting executive-level clientele and corporate training/professional development buyers is a plus
- Minimum 2-3 years experience with Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
- Proven track record of operating as a self-starter, taking initiative, and driving projects independently
- Strong creative vision and a demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into highly engaging and visually appealing social media content
- Proficient in Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and optimize campaigns
- Prior experience in developing creative and engaging online campaigns
- Familiarity with branding and audience engagement best practices
- Proficiency with social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience with graphic design/video editing tools for content creation (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
This is a contract position with a flexible weekly commitment.
- Hourly Rate Range:$50 - $60+ per hour, commensurate with B2B experience and portfolio
- Preferred Structure: We are open to a flexible hourly arrangement or a fixed monthly retainer with agreed-upon deliverables (e.g., content calendar, posting, reporting)
