Role Overview: Oppenheim Architecture is seeking We are seeking a visionary marketing leader to elevate our architectural firm’s global presence. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that positions the firm as a leader in design, innovation, and sustainability, while amplifying our unique architectural voice. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands-on creativity and execution, thriving in both big-picture brand building and day-to-day content creation.
Key Responsibilities:Brand Positioning & Strategy
- Define and implement a compelling brand narrative that communicates our design philosophy, projects, and values to diverse audiences (clients, press, collaborators, public).
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, proposals, events, and media.
Content & Storytelling
- Develop high-quality storytelling across print, digital, and film (social media, newsletters, website, podcasts, publications).
- Oversee creation of marketing materials for pitches, competitions, and publications.
Public Relations & Media
- Build relationships with journalists, editors, and cultural institutions to secure press coverage in leading architecture, design, and lifestyle outlets.
- Lead submissions for awards, exhibitions, and speaking opportunities.
Digital & Social Media
- Grow and engage global audiences across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Leverage analytics to refine strategy and maximize impact.
Client Development & Partnerships
- Support business development with tailored presentations, proposals, and events.
- Cultivate partnerships with luxury brands, developers, and cultural organizations.
Team Leadership
- Manage internal and external marketing teams (designers, writers, PR agencies, photographers, videographers).
- Build systems for efficient content production and campaign execution.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in marketing/communications for a design-driven organization (architecture, hospitality, luxury, cultural, or creative industries).
- Strong visual and verbal storytelling skills; ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms and trends in design/luxury marketing.
- Relationships with relevant press and industry figures are a plus.
- Hands-on ability to direct and produce content (graphics, video, copywriting) while also setting strategy.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, global, creative environment.
