Role Overview
Open Ring is looking for a part-time AI Social Media & Performance Creative Specialist to help shape how we show up across social media, paid ads, community channels, and product storytelling.You will create social posts, ad creatives, short-form content, product visuals, campaign assets, and lightweight design materials for developers, researchers, startups, and wearable-tech enthusiasts. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who uses AI tools to move faster, test more ideas, and produce high-quality marketing assets while keeping strong taste, brand consistency, and human judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create social content for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels
- Develop AI-assisted posts, captions, carousels, visuals, short-form video concepts, and campaign ideas
- Create paid ad creatives and copy variations for Meta, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, and similar platforms
- Turn technical product features into simple, engaging content for developers, researchers, startups, and early adopters
- Support launches, product announcements, founder-led content, community updates, and educational posts
- Use AI tools for ideation, copywriting, image generation, video concepts, editing workflows, and creative variations
- Research trends, competitors, ad examples, creator formats, and conversations in wearables, health tech, open source, AI, and developer communities
- Create lightweight visual assets using tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe, CapCut, Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
- Support basic UI, landing-page, and web-content visuals when needed
- Track content and ad performance, then use data to improve future creative
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, performance creative, or creative production
- Strong portfolio of social posts, ad creatives, short-form videos, visual campaigns, or digital marketing assets (send it to contact@o-ring.tech)
- Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms
- Strong copywriting skills for hooks, captions, ad copy, CTAs, and short-form storytelling
- Confident using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar tools
- Good visual taste and ability to create clean, modern, brand-consistent assets
- Experience with Canva, Figma, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of paid social ads, creative testing, campaign metrics, and performance iteration
- Ability to translate technical or complex product information into clear, engaging content
- High ownership, attention to detail, and curiosity about AI, wearables, open source, health data, and developer communities
