Role Description: The Freelance Senior Account Manager is a remote, contract role responsible for owning key client relationships and ensuring marketing initiatives deliver measurable outcomes.
For this role specifically you will work across Performance Marketing / Paid Ads clients.
- Day-to-day, you will lead client communication, clarify goals, and translate business objectives into actionable digital marketing strategies.
- You will coordinate with specialists, review campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
- You will manage timelines, scope, and expectations, proactively address issues, and ensure work is aligned with client priorities and budget.
- You will also be contributing strategic insight to proposals, helping onboard new clients, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness in every interaction.
- Duration: you'd ideally be looking for ongoing long term contract work.
Qualifications
- Strong account management skills, including client communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear marketing plans.
- Experience with digital marketing channels such as Google Ads, Meta Ads and Paid Social, with the ability to interpret performance data and guide optimization efforts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including scoping, scheduling, and coordinating remote teams or freelancers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strengths in presenting strategy, reporting results, and managing expectations in a concise, confident manner.
- Background in agency or consulting environments, preferably serving professional services, technology, or other high-performing brands.
- Comfort working as an independent contractor, with reliable remote-working capabilities, self-management, and responsiveness.
- Analytical mindset and commercial awareness, with a focus on measurable impact, ROI, and aligning marketing activity with client business goals.
