Our client is a leading accounting and tax software provider has an opening for a Marketing Manager II for long-term contract engagement.
You will have the opportunity to work fully REMOTE! (must be willing to work PST hours)
Contract Duration: through November 2026
Description:
- Manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization.
- Develops and implements marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
- Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment and coordinates market research projects.
- Selects and manages ongoing relationships with different marketing vendors.
- May oversees advertising, events and public relationships.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- True first level manager.
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- Has full authority for personnel actions.
- Extensive knowledge of department processes.
Retention Team for Money products (payments and bill pay)
- 3 people currently on the team
- Teams works with VIP's in the company
- Will work 4-5 campaigns at a time

Additional Responsibilities:
- Execute lifecycle marketing programs from start to finish -
- Identify key customer insights and data needed to construct effective strategies
- Assess and develop strategies to address key business problems in the customer lifecycle – e.g., design multi-channel campaigns to drive customers to the Aha moment, increase their engagement with a product, and overall improve their short-term and long-term retention
- Identify the key performance metrics or indicators to measure success, both leading and lagging indicators
- Plan and manage end to end process of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, direct mail, push, sms, and in-product discovery
- Critically evaluate and size impact of addressing business problems
- Critically size impact of various strategies to address specific problems
- Work with many cross-functional stakeholders and partners to deliver an awesome customer experience
- Own the deliverables, deadlines and measurement of customer IPD, push notification and email/marketing automation campaigns in digital marketing tools to drive usage, conversion, retention, revenue and unit growth
- Provide direction to build program test plans
- Perform and analyze A/B split testing along with analyst - Partner closely with cross functional teams (e.g. Segment Marketers, Product Managers, Data Ops, Analytics, Creative & Deployment Agencies) to execute campaigns, as well as optimize and analyze campaign results
- Develop program/creative brief - Manage creative development with copy writer, designer and programmers
- Build and ensure on-time detailed program schedules - from kick off to tracking codes to legal/compliance review to deployment and results tracking, including managing stakeholder expectations and communicating out project timelines
