We’re looking for an experienced Search Everywhere SEO Manager to join our remote team and lead organic search campaigns for some of the UK’s best-known brands including Kingfisher (owners of B&Q and Screwfix), Musto and Helly Hansen.
Position Overview
- Position Title: Search Everywhere SEO Manager
- Location: Virtual, remote role – meet 4 x per year, mostly in London, UK. Candidates must be based in the UK.
- Reports To: Head of SEO/Search and Client Services Director
- Work alongside: Copywriting and PR team
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
We are looking for a highly skilled Search Everywhere SEO Manager to own and evolve our on-page, off-page, and social media SEO strategies across client accounts. This is a specialist SEO role responsible for designing and overseeing integrated search strategies that span Google, social media platforms, AI platforms, digital PR and emerging search environments.
You will act as the bridge between the SEO, Content, and PR teams, turning keyword data and search insights into powerful content, PR, and social media search-led strategies that deliver measurable results across multiple platforms.
This role is central to our agency’s vision of Search Everywhere: ensuring our clients appear wherever their customers are searching - Google, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Amazon, social search engines, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities1. On-Page SEO Specialist
- Be the On-Page SEO Specialist within the business designing and implementing strategies for client accounts.
- Ensure proposed SEO and Search Everywhere recommendations will deliver clients’ desired traffic and conversion outcomes.
- Manage and implement keyword strategies, ensuring the correct keyword targeting is built into web structures, content plans, and site architecture.
- Review all copy delivered by the Content Team to ensure it meets SEO best practices, as well as copy implemented by our clients’ in-house social media teams.
- Monitor on-page delivery “like a hawk” - ensuring meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, URL slugs, image alt text, schema, and internal linking are optimised and implemented correctly.
- Lead on image optimisation, advising clients on best practices for naming, compression, and search-friendly asset management.
- Oversee Google Merchant Centre and Google Shopping optimisation to ensure product feeds, imagery, titles, and attributes are fully search-optimised.
2. Off-Page SEO & Digital PR Integration
- Act as the agency’s Off-Page SEO specialist ensuring PR campaigns are strategically aligned with SEO strategies and positively impact results.
- Work closely with the Head of PR to identify PR opportunities that will generate high-value backlinks, brand mentions, reviews, and coverage on authoritative sites.
- Conduct ongoing backlink audits, off-page analysis, and link performance evaluations to ensure activity is driving visibility and ranking improvements.
- Provide insights and direction to the PR team to ensure off-page efforts align with priority keywords and client commercial goals.
3. Search Everywhere SEO Strategy (Google + Social Search)
- Lead the development of Search Everywhere SEO Content strategies, identifying where audiences are searching across platforms including Google, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, Amazon, and AI search interfaces.
- Transform keyword research into a data-driven storytelling document that clearly highlights:
- search peaks and patterns
- priority platforms
- recommended content formats
- the role of PR, product content, and SEO in the customer journey
- Keep the agency informed on the latest Search Everywhere SEO and platform-specific search trends.
- Ensure clients are ahead of algorithm and consumer behaviour shifts.
4. Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Head of SEO to help shape client strategies and deliver industry-leading performance.
- Collaborate with Content and PR teams, providing detailed briefs, insights, and quality control to ensure alignment across channels.
- Provide clients with clear explanations, guidance, and strategic thinking around both traditional and emerging search environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in SEO, with demonstrable success across on-page and off-page.
- Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, technical SEO elements, and content optimisation.
- Strong experience with Digital PR, link-building strategies and Social SEO content.
- High level of knowledge of Google Merchant Centre and Google Shopping optimisation.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
- Up-to-date with latest trends in Google search, social search, and AI-driven search platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, able to brief internal teams and advise clients clearly.
- Highly detail-oriented - comfortable owning processes and ensuring flawless implementation.
Desired Skills
- Experience with international/multilingual SEO
- Ability to build dashboards in Looker Studio
- Understanding of technical SEO - enough to hold your own in a conversation with clients
- Personal interest in the use of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest
Working Set-Up and Hours
- 4 days a week (30 hours) or full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Flexi-time between 8am–8pm, focused on great client service and teamwork
- Remote first – with 4 x team meet-ups per year in the South (e.g. London, Brighton)
- Occasional travel for training, conferences, or client meetings
- Strong WiFi and “camera-on” etiquette for virtual meetings (support can be provided)
