Job Summary
The Manager, eCommerce & Digital Experience will lead Medterra’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) website operations and digital strategy. This role is essential in delivering a seamless and high-performing online shopping experience while driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and retention through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the DTC website ecosystem to deliver a seamless, customer-first shopping experience.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, engagement, and retention across digital channels.
- Analyze KPIs (e.g., CVR, AOV, traffic, customer journey) to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts across the funnel.
- Manage the website technology stack including GA4, FullStory, Google Optimize, chatbots, and AI-based tools.
- Collaborate with marketing to align website content, promotions, and merchandising with brand and growth goals.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure site functionality, performance, and execution of roadmap initiatives.
- Lead site merchandising strategies including navigation, PDP optimization, search performance, and promos.
- Stay informed on eCommerce trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Define and present performance insights to advocate for ongoing website innovation and investment.
- Partner with Sr. Director of Retention and SVP of eCommerce on cross-channel experience strategy.
Key Qualifications & SkillsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing DTC eCommerce websites with a proven track record of revenue and conversion growth.
- Strong background in website analytics, A/B testing, and CRO.
- Experience with GA4, FullStory, Google Optimize, and AI-driven digital tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, UX, Product, and Engineering.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in the wellness or CPG industry.
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of mobile-first UX/UI design principles.
Success Metrics / KPIs
- Increase in website revenue and conversion rate
- Improvements in customer retention and engagement metrics
- Reduction in site friction and bounce rates through CRO efforts
- Timely execution of digital roadmap initiatives\
- Growth in AOV and improvements in site search performance
