MISSION
The Senior PR & Marketing Manager for Northern Europe will spearhead the development and execution of both marketing and public relations strategies to enhance Maserati's brand presence and commercial performance across the region, integrating all the available channels. This role involves strategic planning, media relations, event management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with global brand objectives and local market needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESStrategic Planning & Market Development:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies across all sales channels, focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets to increase brand and product awareness.
- Define and execute regional marketing plans that align with Maserati's global brand strategy while addressing local market dynamics.
Public Relations & Media Relations:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with automotive and lifestyle journalists/editors across Northern Europe.
- Craft and distribute press releases, pitches, and media materials that effectively communicate the brand's story, values, and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
Event Management & Brand Experience:
- Plan and execute local events such as product launches, test drives, co-marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and loyalty experiences.
- Ensure all brand experiences are consistent with Maserati's global identity and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with PR to maximize marketing presence and impact.
Digital & Media Planning:
- Design and oversee the execution of local media plans, with an emphasis on digital and social media strategies.
- Ensure consistent and impactful digital storytelling aligned with Maserati’s brand guidelines.
CRM & Customer Journey:
- Lead CRM initiatives across the funnel, from acquisition to loyalty, including eDMs, newsletters, and personalized communications.
- Oversee lead generation and lead management processes in close collaboration with sales teams, ensuring high-quality conversion and tracking.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as the key marketing liaison with the sales department to define customer targeting and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate closely with local dealers, supporting them in developing marketing plans that align with corporate standards and objectives.
Budget Management & Reporting:
- Allocate and manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring ROI across campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar marketing or PR role, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of integrated marketing, digital media, CRM, and brand management.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholders across regional and global teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and budget management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
