Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, digitally minded B2B marketer to support the development and execution of executive-level thought leadership programs for a leading global technology organization.
This role will own and evolve the digital strategy and end-to-end program management supporting security-focused thought leadership, including executive content, digital campaign activation, audience development, online engagement, and flagship research and thought leadership initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a tenacious, proactive digital marketer and strategic thinker who operates as a self-starter. You can identify opportunities, work independently with program teams, recommend new approaches, and drive initiatives to completion across time zones without waiting to be prompted.
This person should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, managing end-to-end programs rather than relying solely on promotion tactics, and navigating a highly matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Rather than simply coordinating existing activities, this role will be expected to continually evaluate how and where executive audiences engage digitally and bring forward recommendations for expanding reach, improving engagement, and strengthening relationships with senior security decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Thought Leadership Strategy
- Develop and drive the digital strategy for CISO, Board of Directors, and executive security thought leadership programs, establishing both short- and long-term objectives.
- Proactively identify new opportunities to expand the reach, engagement, and impact of executive thought leadership content across digital channels.
- Translate thought leadership priorities into integrated, multi-channel digital campaigns and audience journeys.
- Recommend new campaign concepts, channels, content experiences, and engagement strategies based on audience behavior, industry trends, and performance insights.
- Partner with marketing and leadership stakeholders to ensure thought leadership is incorporated into broader security marketing campaigns and workflows.
- Develop strategic recommendations that connect thought leadership initiatives to broader marketing and business objectives.
- Own and evolve the digital experience surrounding executive and security thought leadership, including centralized content hubs and campaign destinations.
- Develop strategies to make executive content more discoverable, engaging, and actionable throughout the audience journey.
- Explore and implement digital experiences designed to create sustained engagement with executive audiences, including executive insight hubs, online communities, virtual experiences, and emerging formats.
- Coordinate executive editorial calendars and identify opportunities to amplify key content across campaigns and channels.
- Partner with content creators, creative teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure executive content is optimized for digital consumption and promotion.
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall digital experience and create stronger connections between content, campaigns, and audience engagement.
Develop and execute multi-channel digital programs supporting executive thought leadership across areas such as:
- Paid social and social media
- Email and nurture programs
- Paid media and content syndication
- Display advertising
- SEO and SEM
- Web and landing-page experiences
- Virtual briefings and digital events
- Account-based marketing and targeted executive outreach
- Develop campaign activation plans for priority thought leadership assets, research reports, executive perspectives, and security-related content.
- Identify opportunities to extend the lifecycle of high-value thought leadership assets through evergreen digital campaigns and ongoing promotion.
- Work across functional teams to develop and execute executive-focused online briefings and digital experiences.
- Coordinate campaign execution across content, creative, media, web, analytics, and other supporting teams.
- Ensure campaigns are launched effectively and optimized throughout their lifecycle.
- Support the continued development and evolution of executive and Board-level thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop digital strategies to expand engagement with senior executive and Board-level audiences.
- Increase participation in executive content, research, briefing, and digital engagement programs.
- Track program engagement, audience growth, executive briefings, and other indicators of success.
- Develop recommendations for scaling successful initiatives and integrating them into broader ongoing marketing programs.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement with priority executive audiences and accounts.
- Establish success metrics and measurement frameworks for executive thought leadership and digital campaigns.
- Monitor performance across digital channels and use data to continually optimize campaigns, content promotion, and audience experiences.
- Analyze engagement, conversion, audience growth, account engagement, and other relevant indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate campaign data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Test new approaches, channels, messaging, and experiences to improve digital engagement and campaign performance.
- Use performance data to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
- Manage program budgets and digital investments, ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-impact opportunities.
- Coordinate external agencies, vendors, and partners supporting digital campaign execution, content development, media, research, and related initiatives.
- Maintain visibility into campaign timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and performance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration while proactively identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining strategic focus and executional quality.
- Partner effectively with stakeholders across marketing, communications, content, creative, media, analytics, and other functions.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience developing and executing sophisticated B2B digital marketing programs, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, or another complex enterprise environment.
You should be a tenacious self-starter who works independently with program teams to drive results across time zones without waiting to be prompted.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate
- Strong digital marketing expertise with experience developing integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience marketing to executive and enterprise audiences, including C-suite personas.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations without waiting for detailed direction.
- Experience with demand generation, ABM, paid media, email marketing, web strategy, SEO/SEM, social media, and digital events.
- Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and how content can be used to move audiences from awareness through deeper engagement.
- Experience building or optimizing digital content hubs, campaign landing pages, online communities, or similar digital experiences.
- Strong analytical skills and experience translating campaign performance into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with end-to-end program management for major research and thought leadership initiatives, including annual executive research, industry studies, and security or technology reports.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets, vendors, and complex cross-functional deliverables.
- Ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed organization and influence stakeholders across teams.
- Strong project and program management capabilities while maintaining a strategic, growth-oriented perspective.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
- Curiosity around emerging digital marketing technologies, AI-enabled marketing capabilities, audience engagement strategies, and new approaches to reaching executive audiences.

- Creating more connected and engaging digital experiences for executive audiences.
- Identifying and testing new digital strategies rather than relying solely on established tactics.
- Using data to demonstrate impact and continuously improve program performance.
- Bringing forward new ideas and recommendations that help determine what should happen next, not simply executing what has already been defined.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve programs, processes, and audience engagement.
- Successfully managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders, teams, and workstreams.
- People who want to learn, but are self-motivated to learn from their projects
- People who enjoy the really hard problems
