The Marketing Operations & Job Board Strategy Leader is responsible for the governance, optimization, and strategic management of global job board and recruitment marketing platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn with planned expansion across other acquisition platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of Business, Marketing Operations, Vendor Management, and Analytics. The analyst acts as the business owner for job board platforms — working with business partners and brand leaders to define success metrics, establishing operating frameworks, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring platforms deliver clear, measurable value.

While closely partnering with the Business, Procurement, Marketing, Finance, and Talent Acquisition, this role enables the organization to enter vendor discussions with clear goals, data supported requirements, and a strong understanding of ROI.

Platform Ownership & Marketing Operations

  • Serve as the global business process owner for LinkedIn Recruiter, with accountability for platform governance, operating model, and performance.
  • Define and maintain scalable operating frameworks for job board usage, access, governance, and change management.
  • Translate recruiting and business needs into sustainable platform standards rather than one-off exceptions.
  • Own documentation, SOPs, and playbooks to support consistent global execution.

Vendor Management & Strategic Partnership

  • Act as the primary day-to-day liaison with job board vendors, beginning with LinkedIn.
  • Lead vendor conversations with a clear point of view on what success looks like, rather than relying on vendor-defined metrics.
  • Define and track value, ROI, and effectiveness of job board investments (e.g., utilization, demand coverage, efficiency, outcomes).
  • Partner with Procurement by providing:
  • Usage and performance data
  • Clear business requirements
  • Renewal, expansion, or reduction recommendations
  • Best practices for ROI and business success aligned by key KPIs
  • Support evaluation and onboarding of new job boards or recruitment marketing vendors as the strategy evolves.

LinkedIn Governance & Administration

  • Own the end-to-end governance of LinkedIn licenses, including intake, validation, allocation, swaps, inventory tracking, and utilization.
  • Maintain a centralized system of record for licenses, dashboards, swaps, and access.
  • Identify underutilized or unused licenses and proactively recommend reallocation before new purchases.
  • Provide guidance on appropriate use of license types to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate license swaps across countries and dashboards, maintaining full auditability.

Financial Oversight & Cost Transparency

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of license counts and dashboards with LinkedIn.
  • Validate invoices and partner with Finance to ensure accurate processing.
  • Own the monthly recharge model, ensuring costs are allocated accurately based on usage and timing.
  • Provide forward-looking views of current cost position vs. projected spend, supporting leadership planning.

Data, Reporting & ROI Definition

  • Build and maintain reporting on:
  • License utilization
  • Spend vs. value
  • Platform adoption and efficiency
  • Clearly define success metrics for each platform (not just activity metrics).
  • Translate vendor data into business-relevant insights for Marketing, TA, and leadership.
  • Identify gaps or limitations in vendor reporting and push for better transparency or alternative measurement approaches.

Stakeholder Enablement & Mindset

  • Act as a trusted partner to Global and Regional Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Educate stakeholders on governance rules, platform capabilities, and best practices.
  • Balance control with enablement — ensuring governance supports outcomes, not bureaucracy.
  • Bring an open, adaptive mindset, continuously assessing whether current tools, processes, and vendors are still fit for purpose

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years job board recruiting experience
  • Detailed knowledge of job board principles and tactics
  • Ability to understand and apply strategy across departments and regions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: MS Outlook, MS PowerBI, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS O365
  • Experience with a global organization to be able to work and collaborate across multiple time zones.
