Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead and oversee our digital marketing efforts. This is a full-time, fully remote role offering flexibility, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to shape the future of our digital presence. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing multi-channel digital marketing strategies. You will lead campaign planning, guide execution across platforms, analyze performance, and ensure all digital activity aligns with business goals. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, creative vision, and a passion for community-focused marketing. Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Lead and oversee end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, web, and paid advertising channels
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks to drive growth and engagement
Campaign Management & Execution
- Oversee content planning, scheduling, and execution across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and other digital channels
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and quality across all digital touchpoints
- Manage promotional campaigns for Loyal To Cumbria and partner businesses
SEO, SEM & Performance Marketing
- Lead SEO strategy including keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy
- Oversee SEM and paid digital advertising campaigns, ensuring budget efficiency and strong ROI
- Drive traffic growth, lead generation, and audience engagement through performance-focused marketing
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret performance data using web analytics tools and campaign dashboards
- Produce detailed performance reports with insights, trends, and strategic recommendations
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on data, testing, and performance outcomes
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams, leadership, and local business partners to support marketing initiatives
- Align digital marketing activity with wider business and community objectives
- Support and guide team members, freelancers, or partners involved in digital marketing execution
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, platform updates, and best practices
- Identify new opportunities, platforms, and technologies to keep LTC competitive and innovative
- Proactively introduce new ideas to improve efficiency, engagement, and results
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing management or leadership roles
- Strong expertise in social media marketing, online marketing, SEO, SEM, and performance marketing
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies at scale
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Ability to lead projects and work independently in a remote work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Desirable Skills (Nice To Have)
- Experience working with local businesses, directories, or community-driven platforms
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, freelancers, or marketing teams
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and content management systems (CMS)
- Strong creative instincts combined with commercial awareness
