LHH has a client who needs a Remote – Marketing Manager 3 who will work as Startups Developer Marketing Manager who knows how to market to developers, especially startup developers and CTOs. You’ll think like a builder, understand real developer workflows and decision points, and create credible technical content and channel strategies that developers trust and use

What You’ll Do:

• Own and execute the end-to-end developer marketing strategy for startup audiences, with a strong focus on developers and CTOs.
• Think and operate like a builder—deeply understanding real developer workflows, tooling choices, and adoption decision points.
• Create credible, high-trust technical and developer-first content that startup developers actually use.
• Design and scale a repeatable editorial system, including content formats, templates, and quality standards.
• Lead channel strategy and distribution across developer ecosystems (documentation, GitHub, communities, events, and technical platforms).
• Use performance, usage, and engagement data to optimize growth loops and content effectiveness.
• Partner closely with engineering, DevRel, product, and industry teams to align messaging with real technical capabilities.
• Conduct ongoing developer research, capturing insights, signals, and trends from startup builders and CTOs.
• Establish measurement frameworks to define success, learn continuously, and influence broader marketing and product strategy.
• Represent a strong developer point of view, ensuring authenticity, technical depth, and relevance across all initiatives.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in developer marketing, particularly for technical or startup audiences.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure, cloud platforms, and modern AI tooling.
• Fluency in developer tools, APIs, workflows, and engineering ecosystems.
• Ability to work directly with developers, engineers, and technical leaders, translating technical depth into effective marketing.
• Experience creating technical content for startup-focused audiences across industries such as AI, healthcare, security, or retail (nice-to-have).
• Experience defining repeatable, scalable technical content standards or frameworks across teams (nice-to-have).

📍 Location: Remote

💵 Pay: $40–$47/hr.
