Role Overview

The Creative Director will act as the central owner of how Lexivon products are presented to customers, working closely with Product Development, Graphics, and Amazon teams. You’ll transform technical product information into clear, persuasive, and conversion-focused content, and direct the creation of visual assets to support it. This is a strategic and executional role, ideal for someone who takes ownership, thinks critically, and ensures that every listing reflects the brand’s vision and drives results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Development team to gather product details, identify missing information, and conduct additional research to build a complete understanding of the product’s features and benefits.
  • Translate technical specifications into customer-focused messaging for product listings, manuals, packaging, and marketing materials.
  • Create image briefs and collaborate with the Graphics team to ensure images align with the product positioning and marketing strategy.
  • Oversee the content and image creation process end-to-end, ensuring quality, consistency, and accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Perform competitive research to identify opportunities for differentiation and strengthen messaging.
  • Review and approve final images and copy to ensure they reflect the desired positioning and are optimized for conversion on Amazon and other channels.
  • Coordinate between teams to make sure all elements of a listing (content, images, specs) are cohesive and aligned with the brand’s vision.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive branding, content strategy, or marketing initiatives - ideally within ecommerce or Amazon environments. 
  • Proven ability to translate technical information into persuasive and accessible content.
  • Strong ability to brief and collaborate with designers or creative teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or gaps in product information.
  • Creative thinker with solid marketing instincts - able to identify features worth highlighting and how to make them resonate with customers.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally, managing multiple inputs, and driving projects forward independently.
  • Familiarity with tools, home improvement, or technical products is a plus.

Work Model: Remote - Independent Contractor

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm ET, Friday is a short day
