We’re looking for an experienced, results-driven Google Ads Manager to join our extended team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our marketing service packages by offering high-performing paid ad solutions for clients in the trade and service-based industries (e.g. plumbers, electricians, landscapers).

This role suits someone with a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of Google Ads best practices, and a proven track record of delivering results for tradies or small local businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set up, and manage Google Ads campaigns for clients in the trade industry
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis
  • Create compelling ad copy aligned with client services and goals
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise ad performance (CTR, CPC, conversions, ROAS)
  • Report results and provide insights to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Recommend improvements to landing pages and website content for better ad performance
  • Collaborate with our internal marketing team to align campaign goals with broader strategies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns
  • Proven results in the trade industry (working with tradies or local service businesses)
  • Deep understanding of Google Ads Manager, keyword planning, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional ad copywriting and attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients or client-facing teams
  • Up-to-date on current best practices, trends, and Google Ads policy changes

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment
  • Familiarity with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Landing page design or CRO experience
  • Experience using reporting tools like Google Data Studio or Looker
