POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for an experienced Content Writer to join Kurogo. You’ll write LinkedIn content for founders, entrepreneurs and C-Suite executives across a range of industries. As the Content Writer, you’ll work in a ‘Pod’ with an Account Manager and a Social Community Executive to build our clients’ personal brands. Your key responsibility is to write highly-engaging LinkedIn content, for clients' personal profiles and company pages, to build brand awareness, drive engagement and attracts opportunities.
You’ll have first-hand experience in personal branding - either at a personal branding agency or in-house. Plus, you’ll enjoy hanging out on LinkedIn, studying the best entrepreneurs and creators on these platforms, and learning from their content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To write LinkedIn content for founders, CEOs and senior leaders that generates engagement, grows our clients’ following, builds credibility and attracts opportunities. You may also write content for clients' LinkedIn company pages to drive brand awareness.
- To adopt varying tones of voice to reflect our clients’ personal branding objectives, industries and unique personalities.
- To collaborate with your Pod (Account Manager and Social Community Executive) and senior team to build and execute personal brand strategies and campaigns.
- To create lead magnets and giveaways for the client (you'll know how to convert followers -> fans -> clients/customers).
- To work closely with our clients to understand what makes them stand out and the reputation they want to build.
- To monitor our clients’ industries to spot opportunities for reactive content and trends we can jump on.
- To repurpose press releases, media features and other content into highly engaging social media content.
- To share insights, and best practice on producing industry-leading content openly and productively with Kurogo's Content Writers and the wider team. We love to share learnings across the business!
- To report on content performance (monthly).

YOU'LL BE A GOOD FIT IF:
- You have 2 years' (minimum) experience in LinkedIn content / ghostwriting for founders, entrepreneurs and senior leaders.
- You have a keen interest in the personal branding space.
- You're able to spot trending content and viral ideas.
- You're proactive, self-motivated and organised, with excellent project management skills.
- You're determined to learn and develop with us - constantly looking to improve your skills and our delivery.
- You're a creative and curious individual - someone who is not afraid to experiment and push the boundaries with the content you write.
- You have a positive attitude to feedback.
- You're able to work both independently and collaboratively.

A TYPICAL WEEK COULD INVOLVE:
- Working with your Pod colleagues to build personal brand strategies for new clients, to position them as a thought leaders in their industry.
- Building content strategies for client and writing high-quality LinkedIn content for your clients to grow their audience and authority.
- Attending whole team meetings and Pod meetings to report on the status of your clients.
- Attending regular content calls with clients to collect powerful stories, advice and their life/business updates that you can turn into engaging social content.
- Editing content to optimise its performance.
- Collaborating with your Pod to develop existing clients' content strategies.
- Analysing campaign performance and updating content strategies.

RECRUITMENT TIMETABLE:

Stage 1: Intro Call (with COO)
Objective: to learn more about you, your background and experience, and your interest in the Content Writer role and Kurogo.
Format: 20 minute video call
Date: w/c 12th May 2025
Stage 2: Writing Task
Objective: To assess your ability to write LinkedIn content for two fictional Kurogo clients.
Format: Complete remotely within an agreed timeframe (approx 72 hours)
Date: Set after the Intro Call, to be completed during w/c 12th May 2025
Stage 3: Final Stage
Objective: To further assess your skills and experience in relation to the specific demands of the role. We will ask questions based upon your writing task, too.
Format: 1 hour video call
Date: w/c 19th May 2025
We aim to extend an offer to the successful candidate by the end of w/c 19th May 2025. Start date: As soon as possible - ideally mid-late June 2025.
