Lead Editorial Specialist - REMOTE

In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping the content of our conferences and webinars, engaging with industry experts, and crafting agendas that captivate audiences. Your expertise will directly impact the success of virtual and live events, connecting professionals in communication and marketing. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure each event is not just informative but also inspiring. This role allows you to make a significant impact in a vibrant community dedicated to learning and development. Accountabilities

• Recruit and liaise with industry experts as speakers for our live and virtual conferences, workshops, and webinars.
• Write conference agendas that sell tickets and wow an audience.
• Become a subject matter expert to create highly engaging session topics and agendas.
• Work directly with colleagues and relevant speakers to plan session(s), then moderate and host on the live or virtual stage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, journalism, media or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years producing content for live and/or virtual events.
• Minimum of 7 years of editorial/writing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle fast-moving projects.
• Ability to travel domestically 4-5x per year.
