This role is ideal for a creative video editor who thrives in performance marketing and understands how to create content that drives measurable results across paid social platforms. The position focuses on transforming raw footage, user-generated content, and creative assets into engaging, conversion-focused advertisements optimized for digital audiences. Working in a fast-paced, remote environment, you will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce high-performing short-form videos for multiple channels. Success in this role depends on combining strong editing skills with an understanding of audience behavior, platform best practices, and performance metrics. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with creative concepts, iterate based on campaign results, and contribute directly to marketing growth. - Edit high-converting video advertisements for paid social platforms, including Meta, Google, YouTube, Reels, Shorts, and other digital channels.
- Transform creative briefs, scripts, user-generated content, influencer footage, and internal assets into engaging short-form video content.
- Produce multiple creative variations by testing different hooks, formats, aspect ratios, pacing, and messaging.
- Optimize video performance using campaign insights, audience engagement metrics, and creative testing results.
- Incorporate motion graphics, captions, sound design, B-roll, and stock footage to enhance storytelling and conversion potential.
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines while remaining native to each platform's user experience.
- Organize project files, manage asset libraries, and maintain efficient version control throughout production.
- Proactively identify opportunities to repurpose existing creative assets into new advertising concepts when additional footage is unavailable.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience editing performance marketing, ecommerce, direct-response, or paid social video content.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects.
- Demonstrated experience creating conversion-focused video ads rather than purely brand or cinematic content.
- Portfolio showcasing successful paid social campaigns, preferably including UGC and creator-style advertisements.
- Strong understanding of short-form video storytelling, hooks, pacing, retention, and audience engagement techniques.
- Experience editing content for Meta, YouTube, Google Ads, Reels, Shorts, and similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and use campaign performance data to refine and improve video assets.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Preferred: experience with CapCut, Final Cut Pro, motion graphics, advanced captioning, or collaboration with media buying and growth marketing teams.
