The Role
We are seeking a passionate and organised Podcast Producer to support the end‑to‑end production of our podcast launch. This is a volunteer role, ideal for someone who wants hands‑on experience in impact media and storytelling.
Role Description
This is a remote, volunteer role for a Podcast Producer at ImpactWeave. The Podcast Producer will be responsible for developing and managing the production of high-quality podcast episodes. Core tasks include brainstorming and planning content ideas, scheduling guest interviews, recording and editing audio, and ensuring the overall quality of sound. The producer will also assist in promoting podcasts on digital channels and working collaboratively with the founder to ensure alignment with ImpactWeave's mission and values.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in audio editing, sound design, and podcast production tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to schedule interviews, manage production timelines, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Creativity and strategic thinking in curating content ideas and storytelling for podcast episodes.
- Communication and collaboration skills to engage with guests, team members, and other contributors effectively.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies for promoting podcasts on various platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work environment.
- Prior experience in media production, communications, or a related field is an asset but not required.
