Job Summary
We seek a creative, data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience with email automation, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign analytics. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with marketing, design, content, and sales teams to create high-performing email campaigns that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns from concept to deployment.
- Develop engaging email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action that align with brand guidelines.
- Build and manage automated email workflows, drip campaigns, and customer journeys.
- Segment email lists to improve targeting and campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to optimize performance.
- Maintain email databases and ensure compliance with email marketing best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to develop effective campaigns.
- Ensure emails are optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
- Track industry trends and recommend new email marketing strategies.
- Troubleshoot email deliverability issues and improve inbox placement.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or marketing automation.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B or B2C email marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience with Google Analytics and reporting dashboards.
- Understanding of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email compliance regulations.
