ABOUT HYMAN HEALTH
Hyman Health is the media engine supporting the entire Dr. Mark Hyman ecosystem. Our mission is to share evidence-based health and wellness knowledge through content, community, and commerce. Rooted in Functional Medicine, we help people take control of their health by focusing on prevention and healing.
Founded by Dr. Hyman—15-time New York Times bestselling author and co-founder of the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine and Function Health—Hyman Health reaches millions through social media, newsletters, podcasts, products, and more.
OUR NEEDS
Hyman Health is seeking a high-agency marketer who can bridge strategy and execution—someone who can design systems that scale while also getting into the trenches to make them work.
You’ll be responsible for driving audience growth, email capture, and conversion across multiple product lines and our ecommerce store, ensuring each initiative is measurable, optimized, and aligned with our broader brand goals.
This role requires both analytical and creative instincts, clear communication, and the ability to translate audience insights into campaigns that engage, educate, and inspire action.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute campaigns that drive audience acquisition from social media, YouTube, and podcasts into owned channels—primarily email and SMS—through quizzes, newsletter signups, guides, giveaways, and virtual summits.
- Build segmented prospect lists for each product line and our ecommerce store, and develop automated journeys that convert prospects into customers while guiding them to their next best solution.
- Develop and optimize Klaviyo flows that nurture our audience, convert prospects into customers, and guide existing customers to their next best product solution.
- Create channel-specific campaigns and flows that re-engage inactive subscribers and past customers.
- Build segmented lists to deliver tailored content and offers that speak directly to each audience’s interests and needs.
- Oversee the creative strategy, development, and performance of product campaigns and landing pages—from top of funnel through checkout—with a focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Lead testing and optimization across offers, layouts, and messaging to improve conversion rates.
- Plan and manage paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and YouTube, managing agency relationships to ensure strategy, deliverables, and performance align with goals.
- Build and maintain a marketing analytics framework that provides clear attribution and performance tracking across channels, using ongoing analysis to identify opportunities and recommend data-driven actions.
- Develop and oversee an organic visibility strategy that includes SEO and LLMO, defining keyword targets, metadata standards, and optimization best practices for both content and product teams.
- Plan and execute major audience-growth campaigns including online giveaways, virtual summits, and co-branded partnerships that provide value to prospects, increase brand awareness, and convert new audiences into long-term community members.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities, tools, and approaches for campaigns, offers, and audience growth.
- Audit and oversee data-privacy compliance across all marketing systems, ensuring adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5-7 years of experience in digital or growth marketing, ideally within an ecommerce or expert-driven brand.
- Proven success driving audience growth, lead generation, and conversion optimization. You know the levers that drive results and how to use them.
- Proven experience executing virtual summits and online giveaways. You’ve done it successfully before—you know what works, what to avoid, and how to bring that expertise to this role with confidence.
- Strong proficiency in Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads / YouTube Ads, Shopify, and GA4 or Looker Studio. You know your way around these tools and can jump in wherever needed from day one.
- Working knowledge of quiz and lead-gen platforms (Typeform, ScoreApp) and referral or giveaway tools. You’re resourceful and tech-savvy, comfortable learning new software quickly and figuring out how to make it work for our needs.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize data, translate findings into clear action, and communicate priorities across the organization. You love using data to inform decisions and uncover insights that help the whole team work smarter.
- Experience assigning, editing, and optimizing marketing copy for sales pages, promotional emails, and social media ads, as well as guiding design to ensure messaging and visuals work together effectively. You know how to evaluate creative work, give clear direction, and get the best results from writers and designers.
- Familiarity with the Functional Medicine and/or wellness space is a plus. Ideally, you understand the language, the audience, and what resonates.
- High agency, strong ownership mindset, and comfort working in a lean, startup-style environment. You face hard problems head-on, are a solutions-oriented thinker, and take initiative to move things forward
