The Role
We're looking for a Head of Organic Growth (SEO / GEO / AEO) to own and scale organic customer acquisition at Guideless.
The way people discover software is changing. Search is no longer limited to Google. Potential customers increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, and industry communities to find answers and evaluate solutions.
You'll work directly with the founders to build our organic growth engine from the ground up, owning everything from technical SEO and content strategy to AI search visibility, digital PR, authority building, and emerging discovery channels.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end organic growth strategy across SEO, GEO, AEO, content, authority building, and AI search visibility
- Identify and execute high-impact acquisition opportunities to increase Guideless visibility across relevant channels
- Build scalable content and distribution systems that generate compounding growth
- Improve rankings, citations, mentions, traffic, signups, and revenue
- Optimize website architecture, internal linking, indexing, structured data, and technical performance
- Develop backlink, thought leadership, and authority-building initiatives
- Monitor changes in search behavior, search algorithms, and AI-driven discovery
- Work closely with the founders, product, design, engineering, and customer-facing teams
- Over time, build and lead the organic growth function as the company scales
Who You Are
- Proven track record growing organic acquisition for software businesses
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and authority building
- Understand how AI-powered search and answer engines discover, retrieve, and cite information
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and automation to scale content and workflows
- Analytical, commercially minded, and focused on business outcomes rather than vanity metrics
- Able to operate independently and build systems from scratch
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excitement for early-stage environments
Bonus Points
- Experience scaling organic traffic to from zero to significant volumes
- Experience improving visibility across AI search engines and LLM-powered tools
- Experience with SaaS, product-led growth companies
- Experience building programmatic SEO systems
- Experience managing agencies, writers, or content teams
- Familiarity with onboarding, training, documentation, knowledge management, or workflow software
Success Looks Like
Within 12 months:
- Organic becomes a meaningful source of new customer acquisition
- Guideless is recognized as an authority in workflow documentation, SOP, employee training, customer onboarding, and operational knowledge
- The company achieves strong visibility across both traditional and AI-powered search experiences
- Organic traffic, signups, qualified leads, and revenue show consistent growth
- A repeatable organic growth engine is in place and compounding over time
- An Organic Growth team is built, with a clear strategy for 2027 and quarterly OKRs in place.
Compensation & Ownership
- Gross annual salary of €48,000–€84,000, depending on experience and track record
- Meaningful ESOP package as a founding team member
- Full ownership of the Organic Growth function
- Opportunity to build and lead the team as the company scales
- Direct collaboration with founders and involvement in strategic company decisions
