GemPool Recruitment are an IT recruitment agency currently hiring a Manager – Lead Generation & Business Development for their client. This is a remote position based in Ireland, working US East Coast hours. The role offers the chance to lead and scale a sales development function with direct impact on US revenue growth.

  • Build and lead a team of lead generation specialists to achieve meeting and pipeline targets
  • Drive outbound prospecting campaigns across LinkedIn, cold calling, and multi-channel outreach
  • Design and execute account-based marketing (ABM) programs for key US accounts
  • Partner with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and opportunity conversion
  • Track KPIs, deliver reporting, and optimize performance
  • Coach and mentor team members to hit stretch goals and develop their careers
  • Own and refine outreach playbooks, scripts, and messaging for US buyers

What we’re looking for

  • 6–10 years’ experience in B2B lead generation, demand generation, or inside sales
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams
  • Proven track record in building and scaling outbound sales development functions
  • Strong knowledge of outbound sales, ABM, and IT services pipeline dynamics
  • Skilled in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs, and sales databases
  • Data-driven, KPI-focused approach with strong leadership and coaching ability
