We're leading a search for a high-growth, mission-driven wellness and beauty brand with a thriving e-commerce presence searching for a bold, strategic VP of Marketing.

About the Brand

We are a fast-growing, mission-driven skincare brand rooted in clean, high-performance ingredients and purposeful sustainability. We’ve built a loyal DTC following and a strong Amazon presence. We’re seeking a VP of Marketing to lead our next phase of growth expanding into new channels and overseeing our brand, acquisition, and retention efforts under one strategic vision.

The Opportunity

As our VP of Marketing, you’ll own topline revenue growth. You’ll oversee a talented team across Brand Marketing, Paid Acquisition, and Retention - and align them toward clear goals across DTC, Amazon, and new channels. This is a highly cross-functional, senior leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and a bias toward execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and drive topline revenue across all channels (DTC, Amazon, etc.)
  • Lead and mentor a team of three key marketing functions:
  • Brand Marketing (Social, Influencers, Campaigns)
  • Acquisition (Paid Social, Search, Amazon Ads)
  • Retention (Email, SMS, Push, Loyalty, Subscriptions)
  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy - from customer acquisition through retention - aligned to CAC, LTV, and contribution margin targets
  • Partner with Creative, Product Development, Operations, and Finance to align launches and promotions with company goals
  • Own marketing budget allocation and make data-backed decisions on spend across Meta, Google, email, influencers, and Amazon
  • Spearhead the go-to-market strategy for retail expansion, including in-store support, localized marketing, and retail media
  • Build a scalable performance + brand playbook that allows us to grow profitably.

What You Bring:

  • 7–12+ years of experience in marketing roles, with deep DTC experience and strong paid media acumen
  • Proven track record of scaling a DTC brand to 8- or 9-figures (beauty/wellness preferred)
  • Experience supporting or launching brick-and-mortar retail strategies (e.g. Sephora, Target, Credo)
  • Comfort managing and developing high-performing teams across performance and brand functions
  • Deep familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon Ads, Meta, Google Ads, and GA4
  • Strong grasp of performance metrics: CAC, MER, ROAS, LTV, contribution margin, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - able to work closely with founders and cross-functional leads
  • Highly strategic but willing to roll up your sleeves
