As a fast-growing, VC-backed clean-tech startup based in Switzerland, we work with leading waste operators across Europe and are now expanding our digital product team.
WHAT WE OFFER
We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong UX/UI instincts and a passion for building products users love. You’ll take full ownership of a key customer-facing web app, working end-to-end — from user discovery and prototyping to feature delivery and iteration. You’ll be hands-on with design tools (Figma, AI-assisted prototyping), close to the data, and even closer to our customers — shaping a product already in use across multiple European markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core customer-facing digital product.
- Break down complex customer problems into actionable, high-impact improvements, using a combination of user research, behavioral data, and prioritization frameworks like the 80/20 rule.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end UX/UI process — from user discovery and prototyping (using tools like Figma and AI-assisted design) to feature delivery and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product experiences.
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and analyze behavioral data to validate needs, guide design decisions, and de-risk development.
- Monitor key product metrics (e.g. adoption, retention, NPS) and continuously iterate based on performance and customer feedback.
- Drive customer discovery and quantitative analysis to identify pain points and prioritize investment in features that deliver measurable value.
- Partner with senior leadership to align product direction with business goals, using customer insights, usage data, and competitive research.
- Balance user experience with business objectives, optimizing for both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of product analytics, with hands-on experience using SQL, spreadsheets, and Python to explore data, generate insights, and guide decisions.
- Analyze data from internal sources (e.g. databases, BI tools, Posthog, Metabase, Amplitude) to surface insights and define clear, measurable product specifications.
- Contribute to broader product strategy, ensuring a user-first approach across teams and product lines.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years in product management or digital product roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech.
- Strong portfolio of data-driven, customer-facing product work.
- Excellent communication skills — able to present clear, persuasive arguments to peers and leadership.
- Self-starter mindset, with strong ownership and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- A collaborative, low-ego team player with empathy and curiosity.
- Fluent in English; German, French or Italian is a plus.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with AI, industrial automation, or sustainability products.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup / scale-up (<50 engineers)
- Background in product-led growth or self-serve user experiences, especially in B2B SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with design systems and service design.
- Track record of launching or scaling products across multiple markets.
