Business Development Partner (Outbound Prospecting)

  • Flexible | Work From Home - Anywhere in Australia

  • Renumeration | $40k Base + Incentives + Super

The Opportunity As our Business Development Partner, you will be at the front line of our growth engine – creating qualified opportunities for our Client Partner (Sales) team across Australia and New Zealand. You will connect with senior decision-makers, spark interest in FranklinCovey’s solutions, and fill our calendars and events with the right prospects. This role is ideal for someone who loves outbound prospecting, enjoys conversations, and takes pride in hitting and exceeding targets. What You’ll Do

  • Make outbound calls and outreach to prospective customers across A/NZ
  • Book a targeted number of high-quality meetings each week for our Client Partners (sales team)
  • Generate interest in FranklinCovey’s leadership and performance solutions and qualify prospects
  • Drive registrations for both live and online FranklinCovey events.
  • Accurately record all call outcomes, prospecting activity, and follow-up actions in our CRM
  • Overcome objections with confidence while maintaining a professional, positive tone
  • Use and help refine call scripts and compliance guidelines where needed
  • Work collaboratively as a strong team player and support colleagues when required

You’ll be measured on

  • KPIs for meetings booked and event registrations
  • Quality and growth of our marketing database

About You You’re motivated, curious, and love the challenge of turning a cold contact into a warm opportunity. You’re comfortable talking to leaders at all levels, updating the CRM, and holding yourself to high standards of performance and integrity. You’ll Bring

  • At least 2+ years’ experience in sales support, telemarketing or inside sales roles, with strong customer focus
  • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude – you own your results and thrive in a goal-oriented environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage leaders of all levels confidently
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, using initiative and solid problem-solving skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, data and analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience using a CRM such as Salesforce (or similar)
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is desirable
  • A passion for continuous improvement and being part of a high-performing, growth-minded team
  • Work authorization within Australia
