For Good Measure is a social impact collective connecting skilled professionals with NGOs. We just secured our first project with a nature conservation foundation in Costa Rica that needs to rebuild their community engagement and online presence.
You'll work independently on social media strategy while collaborating with our research and acquisition team to use their insights. You'll be helping us figure out what social media strategy actually works for small conservation NGOs while building something you can showcase in your portfolio.
What You'll Be DoingBuild and execute a content strategy: You'll create 2-3 LinkedIn posts per week - informative, narrative, or interactive content that strengthens the foundation's visibility and credibility. You'll test what resonates with their community and adjust as you learn. You can tap into insights from our research team about what donors care about.
Explore and expand: You'll look at opportunities on other platforms like Instagram and TikTok. What works for conservation storytelling? How can we build genuine community? You'll experiment and track what creates real engagement.
Build something portfolio-worthy: You're not just doing marketing for one client - you're creating a case study for how to do social media for conservation NGOs. Document what works, build a strategy from scratch, and have real results to show for it.
Who We Need
- Someone who speaks English and Dutch fluently, as you will have discussions in English and posts in Dutch.
- Excited about building something from zero
- Comfortable creating content and testing different approaches
- Good at storytelling and making conservation work interesting
- Know your way around LinkedIn (Instagram/TikTok experience is a plus)
- Care about environmental impact and want to support nonprofits
- Someone who can already start from February onwards, max. mid-February.
- Experience with social media or marketing helps, but enthusiasm for figuring out what works matters more.

What to Expect
This is our first project, so we're building and learning together. Some content will resonate, some won't - and that's part of the process. We'll track what works, learn from what doesn't, and build better strategies as we go. If you're looking for an established brand guideline and clear content calendar, we're not quite there yet. But if you're excited to help create those systems from scratch and be part of something at the ground level - we'd love to have you with us.
Compensation: €300/month for 3 months, extendable based on results and fit
Time commitment: Flexible - own your schedule as long as you deliver 2-3 quality posts/week and explore growth opportunities
