What fatjoe is
A productised SEO fulfilment platform for agencies. Over 4,000 agencies use us. 5,000+ backlinks fulfilled every month. 200,000+ campaigns delivered since 2013.
We sell to agency owners and in-house marketing teams who know their stuff. Medium to long consideration cycle, recurring revenue. Not DTC, but the growth playbook rhymes: paid acquisition, fast testing, creative-led, and the offer matter.
The role
You own paid acquisition end to end. Meta and Google are the primary engines. TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn get tested when they earn it.
You own the creative testing roadmap, you brief the team, you direct the funnel, you report the numbers to C-suite.
What you'll actually do
- Live in Meta and Google Ads Manager. Scale winners, kill losers, structure new tests, watch spend pacing daily.
- Build a creative testing system that ships 50 to 150 fresh ad variations a month. Brief our in-house content creator, freelance editor, graphic designer, and a roster of UGC contractors.
- Optimise the funnel: landing pages, offer pages, checkout flow.
- Heavy AI tool usage for briefing, production, analysis, and iteration. We expect velocity that wasn't possible two years ago.
- Report numbers weekly, forecast monthly, defend your bets.
- Scale spend from £100k to £250k+/month inside 18 months without CAC running away.
The team you'll work with
- One in-house content creator (video and ad creative)
- One part-time graphic designer (contractor)
- Freelance video editor and additional designers you'll bring in as you scale
- UGC creator roster (you'll build and manage this)
- Eventually a junior ad launcher to take execution off your plate when spend justifies it
You'll be part of the marketing team alongside our Marketing Manager (brand, comms, content strategy), Head of Client Success (sales), Head of Partnerships (affiliates, events), and Social lead. Paid is yours alone for now.
You're a fit if
- You've personally run $50k+/month in paid budgets for 2+ years
- You've scaled a Meta account from small to meaningful, yourself, not as one of ten people on a team
- You don’t mind getting your hands dirty with ideation, briefing, managing contractors and uploading ads
- You use AI tools every day and weave them into your workflow
- You're as comfortable shaping an offer and optimising a funnel as you are scaling a campaign
- DTC ecom, subscription or SAAS experience preferred
- You want to be measured on outcomes, not hours
You're not a fit if
- You need a dedicated creative strategist underneath you to function
- Your last role was at an agency running clients' accounts
- You've only worked at companies spending $1M+/month with full growth teams
- You can't name the last three things you personally tested
- You want to build and manage a team of media buyers. That's not this role.

- Current spend: £100k/month
- Target in 18 months: £250k+/month with stable or improving CAC
- Channels: Meta and Google primary, others on merit
- Reporting cadence: weekly numbers, monthly forecast, quarterly strategy
Comp
Base: Competitive base salary+uncapped bonus based on goals.
