This role As the Global Head of Brand, you will reimagine the Employment Hero brand to create a world-class, immediately recognisable and globally successful brand. You’ll be at the helm of our brand-building efforts, responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive global strategy. Your mission is to significantly elevate our brand identity, create a compelling narrative, attract new customers and foster brand loyalty among our target audiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape our brand story and ensure it aligns with our core values and business objectives. We’re looking for a seasoned branding expert who can bring innovation, originality and big ideas to the table. Our ambitions are big, and we're competing in brand-led and fiercely competitive markets. We need a leader who's conquered these territories before and can elevate our brand to rival our competitors. This will include
- Reporting into the Global GM of Marketing, this strategically important role will lead a fast growing, cross-functional team of over 35 brand, design and social media professionals including our internal agency the Hero Collective
- As part of the Marketing Leadership Team, you will make our brand famous and loved globally by focussing on our mission to make employment easier and more valuable for everyone on earth
- Enhance our understanding of target audiences, build a plan and execute with precision using our world-class internal team and external partners
- Continuously assess and report on the effectiveness and ROI of our brand activity
- Collaborate with other teams within the business, including Product, Sales, Commercial Operations and CX
Who you are To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring
- The ideal candidate will possess proven client, agency-side and/or startup/scaleup experience (minimum 10 years total, including 7+ years leading a team) in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- They will be customer-obsessed, detail-oriented and has a strong drive for excellence
- Hands on experience leading high performance brand teams including, brand strategy and execution
- A proven track record of creating distinctive brands that cut through and move the market
- An understanding of digital marketing channels (such as SEM, SEO, Display, Social Media, Affiliate and Email) as well as traditional audio, video and out of home channels
- Proficiency with marketing analytics and automation technology such as Google 360 Suite, Braze, Salesforce and/or Marketo
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced remote-first environment
