The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Freelance Paid Social Specialist to support our growing performance team at Empire Amplify. You’ll be responsible for building, managing, and optimising paid social campaigns that deliver scalable, measurable growth for our clients.
This role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands how creative, data, and strategy intersect, and is obsessed with performance. You’ll work closely with strategists, creative teams, and client leads to drive real business outcomes - not just vanity metrics.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, build, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Optimise campaigns daily for performance, efficiency, and scale
- Develop data-backed testing frameworks (creative, audience, landing pages, bidding)
- Analyse performance and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with creative teams to guide high-impact ad concepts and briefs
- Prepare reporting that focuses on clarity, commercial impact, and next steps
- Stay up-to-date with platform changes, trends, and best practices
What You’ll Bring
- 2-4+ years experience managing paid social campaigns (agency or performance-led environment strongly preferred)
- Availability to commit to 2–3 full days per week
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and campaign optimisation fundamentals
- Proven history of improving ROAS, lowering CPA, and scaling campaigns profitably
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and move fast
- Confident communicator who can explain performance insights clearly
- (Bonus) Experience with paid social creative strategy or briefing designers/editors
