_Our client in the wellness space is hiring a Senior Brand Manager!_Role Overview
The Senior Brand Manager owns product marketing and launch strategy as well as ongoing brand building across channels. This role is responsible for how products are positioned, launched, and scaled, and how our brand consistently shows up across DTC, social, influencer, paid media, and retail touchpoints.
You will lead go-to-market planning, own product positioning and claims, and translate science-backed innovation into compelling consumer storytelling. The role works closely with Product Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Creative to ensure products are commercially viable, compliant, and performance-ready.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who brings rigor from a structured brand environment and thrives in a fast-moving startup.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Marketing, Launch Strategy, Claims & Pricing
- Own product-level positioning, messaging frameworks, and claims, partnering closely with Product Development, Science, and Regulatory to build and validate them.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new products and extensions, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment and execution.
- Write or oversee packaging copy, benefit hierarchies, PDP messaging, and core product narratives.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development to evaluate COGS, packaging costs, MOQs, and margin tradeoffs.
- Contribute to pricing strategy, promotional guardrails, and long-term portfolio profitability.
Brand Strategy & Campaign Development
- Own and evolve our brand positioning, voice, and storytelling across channels.
- Concept and support integrated brand and product campaigns, translating strategy into clear creative briefs and messaging frameworks.
- Ensure brand consistency across DTC, email, paid media, social, influencer, packaging, and retail-facing assets.
- Support retail initiatives by developing brand narratives and product storytelling for wholesale partners.
Social & Influencer Marketing
- Shape social and influencer content strategy in partnership with internal teams and external creators.
- Own influencer messaging frameworks to ensure content is brand-right, compliant, and performance-ready.
- Manage influencer platforms and workflows to ensure content can be efficiently leveraged for paid amplification.
- Bring familiarity with short-form, creator-led content formats, including TikTok.
Consumer Insights & Validation
- Conduct consumer research to inform product positioning, messaging, and campaign development.
- Use tools such as Suzy (or similar platforms) to test concepts, claims, pricing, and creative direction.
- Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for product and brand decisions.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or integrated brand roles.
- Experience in health and wellness, ideally within CPG, supplements, or nutrition.
- Proven experience owning product marketing, positioning, and launches.
- Strong track record managing brand expression across social, influencer, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product Development, Supply Chain, Growth, and Creative teams.
- Hands-on experience conducting consumer research and applying insights to product and brand strategy.
- Highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting retail or omnichannel brand initiatives.
- Familiarity with performance marketing and how brand content is used in paid environments.
